We had a lovely cabin at the farm. Everything was well appointed. The view
of the river did not disappoint.
There was also a distant view across the river of another farm. They had dairy
cattle there I think.
Anyway, it was interesting to see the movements of the cattle. At different times
of day you got nice light effects, on the hills and mountains, especially at dawn
or dusk.
The reason for staying in Barrington, was to be near The Barrington Tops National Park.
We also explored the local township of Gloucester.
Our cabin was the front one, overlooking the river. If you kept your window open at
night, you could hear the fast moving water going over the accumulation of river
pebbles, and soothingly flow over, like a small waterfall.
There were stairs to go down to the river, seating there, and a riverside walk.
The farmer owner said Platypus had been sighted, so I did go early one morning, to
try and get a view, unsuccessfully.
